HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY :)

Today I am the happiest i've been for 14 months exactly, reason as to which i am so happy, are personal and so i won't divulge, but there is a smile on my face as big as the world, i doubt very much that there is a happier person than me around today!!!

Even if happiness forgets you a little bit, never completely forget about it.  ~Jacques PrĂ©vert

The quote above is so true too my life, these last 14 months have been long and hard, but today i feel like a different person completely, despite how hard it was i knew that what i was so desperately missing in my life, would come back and indeed it has!!!

Rucksana Reviews..... Accessorize Eye Dust in Copper Rose

So to kick off, im going to start with a review of one my favourite eye shadows...

However you'll have to forgive, as there won't be many images, that is because at the moment i don't have a functioning camera, well i do but the cat decided to eat the cable, however im getting an iPhone next week so they'll be many photos, to come!! Just bear with me...

Onto the review...

So one cold morning last October, I caught the bus to the Bull Ring Shopping Centre in Birmingham, the aim of the trip was to return a purse i brought from new look that i didn't like, however once on the bus, i realised i left my purse and all my money at home...silly fool

after returning the purse i had £10 to play with, i wanted to cry and more-so once i spotted the clean, gleaming Accessorize stand in Superdrug, I liked the products and the prices were reasonable for a drug store brand..when my eyes fell upon the eye dusts, it was love at first sight!!!

I picked up Molten Truffle and Copper Rose...which were £3 each

I came home and took of my make up and rushed to apply the copper rose and was very impressed by the  quality and pigmentation for such a cheap product, but the color was mind blowing...

In the pot, it looks like a brick colored, dust and doesn't look incredibly pretty however once applied onto the eyes, it transforms into a warm raspberry shade, with hues of pink and gold, it also contains specks of glitter but nothing to obnoxious.

The eye shadow itself, is well pigmented and a little goes along way, however when applying the shadow there is a bit of fall out, but that is to be expected with loose powder shadows.

I have used it over both Urban Decay's Primer Potion and MAC's Painterly and Bare Study Paintpots. Personally i love how it looks over the Bare Study as it brings out the shimmer and makes it "pop". I also think it would look very pretty over a dark base, which I will try next.

I get over 10 hours wear, without creasing or fading, but i do have dry skin and don't tend to suffer with creasing very much.

I wore Copper Rose, for about 6 months consecutively until i realized i was neglecting my other eye shadows, however if im ever stuck for what look to do, i always reach out for Copper Rose.

I love this colour it is gorgeous....I urge you all to buy it :)

You can see it here, on the Superdrug Website, where it is selling for the bargain price of £1.50

However, for the last few months something has been niggling me in the back of my head, and i have decided to re-commence with the blog.

I have planned many posts, up to know and posts will include, beauty hauls, reviews as well as general life posts, including a bool review, planned for a few posts away from now...

So i hope you all forgive me, and welcome me back into the blogging world, I promise to be a much better blogger this time around!!

im such a failure :(

today was a horrible day for me, i have not been looking forward to today, the reason for this being it was my driving test, my second to be precise.

on the 9th october i had my first driving test and i failed, i only had 2 minors and the major mistake was i went into the curb whlit trying to reverse aroud the corner, i was naturally quite upset but i got over it as i was convinced that i could do it next time, after all i only got 2 minors and one not so serious major (i didn't kill anyone).

i booked my second test straight away for the 2nd november and have had about 15 lessons to sort out the corner and i was doing so well in lessons, i even done the reverse around the corner in complete darkness.

so this morning i awoke slightly panicking but i was convinced that i was going to pass the bloody thing after all i was now a very good driver so my instructor said and prior to test the only thing i was going to fail on was eyesight right, wrong.

we got to the horrible test centre and out came the horrible examiner and that was it, he was a very patronising man and marked me down for almost everything i did including breathing, he was sitting next to me making unapproving sounds that were off putting. at more than one point i wanted to tell him to stop the test so i was not surprised i failed, on a totally different level, i also personally found him to be quite sleazy and was not comfortable at all

later on after the test my instructor, who was in the back, agreed and said some of the things weren't as bad as he said and half of the things were fine and a couple of things could have been minors. she then dropped the bombshell that he was the nasiest examiner at the centre and didn't really approve of female drivers, now having been the victim of racism and sexiesm a few months ago i found that too much too bear and cue on tears.

so the results, well i ended up with 12 minors and also everything was a serious, every bloody box was labelled as serious. im am gutted

Out of Accidents, life time love is made :)

So, for a few months now, i have had trouble in finding a replacement shampoo to my holy grail shampoo, Sunsilk Care and Repair. For many years I used sunsilk and absoletely loved the product, it was east to work with, had a pleasent smell and most of all didn't leave my hair greasy and my scalp itching afterwards. Now, i have a very sensitive scalp and there are more shampoos that leave my scalp irritated and sore and very few that don't. Quite recently i tried the VO5 silky smooth shampoo and conditoner and i my scalp was so itchy that i ended up with a sore head and combing and sleeping was a painful endeavour.

One of the shampoos that doesn't leave me scalp itchy but makes my hair fragile is head and shoulders, after using this shampoo for about 2 weeks, i embarked on a shampoo mission, to find the perfect shampoo, i spent hours in boots and superdrug and the poundshop in Bham city Centre and eventually decided on the Elvive Nutri Gloss light with citrus, This was a safe option as i had used this previously and really liked the results, bought this and to my surprise was a success and was contemplating re-purchasing.....

About 2 weeks ago, i eventually ran out of Elvive's Nutri Gloss and had to resort to whatever shampoo and conditioner was in the bathroom cabinet to suffice for that day. The Shampoo, was Original Source Mint and Tea Tree Oil.

Before using his product i have always thought of Original Source as a mascauline brand and have never really given it the time of day, but any misconceptions i might have had and i have to say that the Mint and Tea Tree Oil shampoo is probably the best shampoo i have ever used. It has a very pleasent mint smell and the shampoo, even though it is a bit runny lathers very well. The Conditioner is a very thick rich conditoner, going on very smooth and comes out very smooth. It leaves the hair and scalp with a lovely tingling sensation and cool and smells absolute delish.

Afterwards, my hair feels silky and light, but most of all no itchy scalp and no grease, normally i wash my hair everyday, but after using shampoo i didn't have to wash myhair for 2 days and that in my opinion AMAZING. By stumbling upon this shampoo accidently i have now found a shampoo that i will continue using for the foreseeable future!!!
